The island of Borneo in South-East Asia is one of the most unique and bio-diverse places on the planet. It is the third-largest island in the world and the second-largest island in Asia. Just like it is home to one of the oldest rainforests in the world, it is also the home to thousands of plant and animal species, the evolution of the island and it`s inhabitants has provided the world with countless unique plants and animals that can be found no-where else in the world. We are going to stay in some of the most unique rainforest lodges which are renowned by the international organizations such as National Geographic. Your every boat ride, every walking trail and every jungle safari will make sure that the every moment you spent will be a rich experience.
Itinerary
Departure to Mumbai airport. Fly from Mumbai to Kuala Lampur at 2325 HRS.
Reach Kuala Lampur at 0705 HRS. Fly to Kota Kinabalu at 0915 HRS and reach at 1150 HRS. Evening sight seeing and stay at Kota Kinabalu.
In the morning departure for Sandakan at 0630 HRS and arrive at Sandakan Airport at 0715 HRS. Visit to Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre and Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre. Transfer to Sukau rainforest lodge. River cruise to Kelenanap Ox-Bow lake. Post breakfast day long nature trails and other activities. Evening river cruise. Stay at Sukau.
Morning evening walking trail and river cruise in rainforest. Stay at Sukau.
Morning river cruise in Menanggol river and a walk in rainforest. Visit to Gomantong cave. Stay at Sukau.
Check out and proceed to Ladad Datu. Visit to Danum valley. Post lunch rainforest trek and post dinner night trail. Stay at Kwang Danum Rainforest lodge.
Trek in rainforest and water fun at Alibaba Waterfall. River activities at Kawang river. Stay at Kwang Danum rainforest lodge.
Post breakfast departure for Ladad Datu and fly back to Kota Kinabalu at 1110 HRS. Arrive Kota Kinabalu at 1205 HRS. Depart for Kuala Lampur at 1550 HRS. Arrive at Kuala Lampur at 1815 HRS. Depart for Mumbai at 2000 HRS. Arrive at Mumbai at 2225 HRS. Depart for Pune.
Arrival at Pune. Camp concluded.
